No golf today

Only Tommy and Hergy decided to get their butts out of bed to "attempt" to play golf this morning. Hergy was there because he is a masochist and loves for golf to beat the hell out of him, Tommy was there to win the money....he thinks its easier than the stock market!

I went to the Pro shop this morning to get several tee times for next week (usually I do this on line) . Basically, in the "pecking order" of tee time assignment, we are usually behind the Women, Peche Group and the Dogfight. I usually go on-line to make the reservations because I can dance around the tee times and go where these groups are not playing.
*
For some reason, all of the above groups have decided that as we move into the Winter months they want the 10:00 tee slots -- bottom line all of the tee times from 10:00 to 10:45 are taken by the above groups on the Azalea-Dogwood courses.
*
Our options and my question for your response is:

1. Do you just want to lump it and follow them - slow as that may be?

2. Move our tee time to 11:00 - 11:15 and miss the commotion?

3. Say screw it and play our golf somewhere else?

4. Keep the 10:30 time and play the Laurel until it's gone and decide then?

Let me know what you're thinking and I'll make the arrangements

1. Have you considered going off at 9:30. The difference in temperature should not be significant.
2. If the above is not an option I vote for 11:00 or later. We would be able to finish by 3:00 - 3:30.

It's okay with me to play the Laurel while we can, as much as we can. Starting earlier than 10:00 ayem is okay too. If we play late and slow (11:00 or later) it might pose a problem for me. I suppose it's just a matter of time before slow play will be the norm, and I don't like it. Larry

I'd rather play at or around 11:00.Maybe at this time we can avoid some of the slow play.Having to wait really screws up my stellar play.Ron

I like 11am better than 9:30 am.
