We had a rather pleasant day. In fact, it was a lot warmer than you would have suspected. After an hour frost delay, five golfers braved the temperatures - course was a little cold (frozen) at the start, but by the end it was wet again.

Larry, the sandbagging POY, was the big winner with 9 skins (i.e. gifts). Actually, he only made two putts all day long, and with the carry-overs, he was able to STEAL our hard earned retirement money. After his success with the POY and other stuff, he has directed the Editor of the blog to refer to him as POYUS (after POTUS) or his golfing alias - Obama-boy.

Hergy and Louie tied for second with 3 hard earned holes and Don had to work to get his two. The little Georgia troll was held scoreless since he had to give strokes and dollars - thanks Bob!

Note the special time tomorrow. It is supposed to rain on Saturday and tomorrow the weather is supposed in the mid to upper sixties. So throw off your blankets, put on your woolens and get your butt out of the house!
