******GENERAL INFORMATION*******

I have recorded all of the scores from the last blog. Sorry for those of you who achieved a degree of individual success but will not get recognized for it!

On the 15th, since we had a "split" day (i.e. Houndslake and Lake Lure) in order to keep everything even for the POY points, I used only the individual winners totals for the 15th (no team scores). We had a tie in HCC with Walt and David and did a combined average of the three days of Lake Lure to determine the "best" (Tommy) and recorded that as ONE individual win.

You know, this game we play is a cruel mistress - Last week at Lake Lure I played for crap! I couldn't drive, chip or putt (I know some of you are saying what's new about that!), but I sucked worse than ever - shooting a combined -12 for the three days. I was upset and depressed about the state of my game.

On Saturday, I mustered up my courage to attempt another try and see if I could last 18 holes without slitting my wrists - well for whatever reason - it was as if I was God's gift to golf. I shot an 82 (+6), including a 39 on Dogwood. Yet, I did nothing to improve my game over the intervening time, it just , like happened. I don't know how or why, but it is frustrating to say the least!

Oh, and lest I forget....Thanks to Ron and Larry to donating to Paint-boy and my "retirement funds" during the one-sided Nassau stomp we put on you turkeys on Saturday!

I will be checking with each of you on which date, the 10th or 17th of December is best for the Christmas Party. As of now, the 17th has a slight lead with a bunch of "either date is fine with me", close behind! Check with Mama!
