******GENERAL INFORMATION*******
We had 12 golfers out this AM for a truly spectacular day for golf. Our first outing at the 11:12 time slot seemed to work out well for most of the attendees. The course is still very, very wet in spots and with little if any "heat" to dry it out, looks like it may remain this way for a while!
Several of the greens are impossible to approach with anything but a direct shot at the pin, and
we all know how well we execute those type of shots.......NOT!

Congrats to our reigning P.O.Y on a fantastic round today. Larry smoked everyone by a minimum of 6 strokes en route to a very respectable 86. Those new clubs and better driving results seem to be revitalizing Larry's game. This is Larry's 13th win for 2009.
By the way, that 86 ties for Larry's best round for 2009! (he shot a similar score on 9/17). Way to go Larry!

I've kept the red numbers in this Section hoping that someone will take a hint and shoot a score below 40 - that hasn't happened in quite a while. Come on get after it! Don't make me remove it!

It was decided amongst the 8-9 remaining members after golf today that we would give the 11:00 time slot a trial period. I have asked Derek to check on the possibility of making the time slot available to us on a permanent basis, at least until the times change again for Spring golf. Actually, when we are in December-January, that extra hour may really be welcome.
There did not seem to be much enthusiasm for cancelling the Christmas festivities to "make a point" about our group being ignored. I do plan to meet with Jeff in the near future to discuss the situation and determining exactly where we stand within the "group hierarchy" - (maybe we'd be better off not knowing :-). Anyway, I will keep you advised, as always, I'm always interested in your comments!
