It was reported to this editor that Dr. Larry parred the long Par 5 and the long Par 3 on the Laurel course. Larry keeps improving every week and pretty soon now will be reaching his "peter principal" - as most of us have already!
Individual Honors:
The 'ol blind squirrel found his acorn today......Ernest Ray won the points contest today with a +5 (87). Larry and Hergy were close with well earned +3's (89 & 86 respectively).

Hergy's 86 was the low score of the day!

CAUTION: There maybe some editorial bias in the following story. However, the facts are what they are, but the views expressed maybe a little biased.
The team made up of liars, beggars and thieves (that would be Ernie, Larry, Don and Ron) posted a really nasty score of +9 1/2 on the front (Dogwood) and a meager +1/2 on the back (Laurel) for an 18 hole score of +10, totally blowing away George Howle and his three choir boys (Duke, Brent and Hergy).
This honest and hard working foursome was only able to amass +5 1/2 points on the front and then fell off the wagon with an ugly -5 1/2 on the back for an EVEN round.
Holding their heads up, even in defeat, they won the hearts and minds of the gallery with their happy smiles and jaunty gait.

Bob Moody is scheduled for his bypass surgery next Thursday.
Good luck Bob, we're thinking of you!
That's it for today! Keep swinging!
