Hello again, you blog-deprived ruffians of questionable taste. I think that you were hoping that I had been relocated under the Witness Protection Program (again), but no, I'm here to haunt you through 2008.
*
Actually, I needed a break from the string of winning golf that I had been playing. Winning so often and so easily, I needed to ramp up the competitive fires again.
*
In addition, my youngest son and his wife were visiting from the frozen tundra of Wisconsin and the boss lady decided they should see different parts of the South. As a result, I'm glad to report that the economy of Greenville, SC (twice); Asheville, NC at the Biltmore Estate; Aiken, SC; and Savannah, GA are now in much better shape due to having had a visit from the ASM (Aiken Shopping Machine).
*
I have the results of the golfing sessions I missed and feel compelled to "honor" the winners as we have in the past. So this, the first of five blogs, will attempt to catch-up on all the news in the Aiken golfing community that means anything.

December 20, 2007
*
Nine golfers hit the links this AM. I guess the warmer weather brought some of them out of hibernation. With that being said, three threesomes hit the links.
*
It appears that with the absence of "Duh Editor" from the mix, no one was sure of how to go about winning. The resulting confusion brought about a three-way tie for the points lead of +4 between the Bankerboy (Tommy), Orangeboy (Brent) and the recently repaired Nylon Bob (he's a Presbyterian Blue Hose Alumni, I'll have you know). Medalist honors on this day was also a shared responsibility with the above mentioned "three stooges" all shooting 83.
*
Notable nines: Nylon Bob led the group with a real nice 39; Bankerboy had a 41, also a 42; Paintboy; the Florence flash (ERA); the Naked Gun; Orangeboy; and POYboy all had 43's. All in all, pretty good golf.
Team Competition
*
The team of Tommy, POYboy and Brent won all the money with very respectable +6 front , +6 back and +12 eighteen. Seems as though Brent and Tommy won all the money today, dragging POYboy to the bank with them.
*
Don, Moody and "Raisn' Cain had a +3.5 on the front and then fell to a -4.5 on the back to finish at -1 1/2 for the day. The third group of ERA, Ron and IRSboy finished. (I didn't get the +/- for this group but I don't think it was very good, at least not enough to win).
News

FYI: Incidentally, when publishing a blog like this, it is impossible to keep it off the mainstream Internet. It would take some digging, but it is there if you really wanted to find it. That is why I try not to use too many complete names, referring to either your first, last or HHH & S names, but never altogether.

Blog 2 of 5 will follow shortly. See what you've missed!
