Kind of a chilly morning this AM, but five souls braved the 38 degree temperature (@ 9:30 am) to tempt their fates at the sacrificial alter of "Golfdom" (I can't believe I just wrote that crap!)
Even though Duh Editor wasn't able to attend ( I had a note from my mommy excusing me), through our vast network of reporters (spies) we were able to piece together the sordid details of today's match.
Individual Honors
As a result of the limited field, a decision to play a " $.25 Skins" game rather than the usual points format was selected.Orange Boy was the winner with a whopping 11 skins. However, from all accounts, it was a "clempson" conspiracy since it appears "Paintboy" only played well when the lone chicken man (Naked Ron....err Gun) was set to win a hole.

Paintboy (3 skins) further helped his school-mate by 3 putting from 8' to allow Brent to win 7 skins - that's almost the whole match by the way. Which begs the question...Why, Paintboy, why?
Don Nicolaisen (visitor from Houndslake North-Peninsula) scored three and the two hot-shot Wofford Terriers managed one stinking skin between the two of them in 18 holes and were present only to contribute to the winner's fund. In fact, if they ever play together as a team, their name should be the "Wofford ATM's".
Brent was the medalist for the day with a respectable 81, Paintboy was three strokes behind at 84 and the others were dragging behind that. Of course, being a medalist with this group is like winning an ugly contest.
Duh Editor is taking a little two-day vacation to the North (Greenville) to pick up Son #3 and his wife and then returning to Aiken for the Christmas holidays, so I may miss the next outing or two.
I'll have the blog from the Christmas Party up within the next day or so. I know you are all waiting with baited breath for that happy missive.
Merry Christmas to All... Be safe!
