A rather chilly day for the five golfers who decided to tempt the fates for fame, glory and big money. Still playing with a reduced number of golfers due to the majority of the group off on a wild Caribbean cruise, the remaining group decided to change the format to a $.25 SKINS game rather than the normal Points challenge.

You know the old saying "Life isn't fair", well neither is golf. The undeserved winner of today's Skins game is Huskerboy with 4 skins (+$1.25). Playing terrible golf, with no less than 3 OB's and a minimum of at least 12 bunker shots, not to mention putting (or clubbing) the ball in the hole, as the boy from the BIG RED calls it. Huskerboy shot an ugly -6 (94) to best Banker-boy, Paint-boy and POY-boy (all with 3 skins) and Wannabe with 2 skins.

Winning one hole (#8 Dogwood) with a 3-hole carryover is the secret to a sure fire victory! Tommy was the medalist today with an 85, followed by the Paint-boy with an 87 and Wannabe with 88.

Plans are in the offing to play Thursday, February 28th at Ft. Gordon Lakes in Augusta, GA. Tee times cannot be made until 72 before so confirmation will have to come later. The costs are $28 Green fees + $13 for Cart. I've not been able to confirm whether or not they have a Senior rate or not!
