FUTURE TEE TIMES

Saturday, March 1st, 10:00 - 10:08 am Dog/Aza
(61 degrees, Mostly Cloudy, Rain: 10%, Wind: 10 mph)

NOTICE To all golfers in semi-hibernation:
It is chilly in the mornings when you first get up and then it tends to WARM UP!
*
This morning we had four golfers hit the links at the appointed time. It was a little chilly at first. Then, as Gomer Pyle used to say "Surprise, Surprise!", it warmed up and turned out to be a perfect day for golf. Bottom line, get out and play, the weather is really great once you give it a chance!

SKINS
With only four players present at tee time, the chosen distraction for the day was $.25 Skins. The winner of the game today was the "Sandbagging" Paint-boy who won a grand total of 8 skins (he got two strokes). Husker-boy was second with 6, the POY had 2 and Banker-boy scraped together one little measly skin.

Hergy was the medalist this morning with an 85 (42-43), posting the only score below 90.
NINES
*****************************
-42- Hergy
-
-43- Hergy
-
-45- Tommy, Don

*
Not a lot to write home about with only 8 possible scores to report on. The course is in really pretty good shape this early in the spring and the greens are a little wet and bumpy. Every day we should see improvement in the conditions.

ITEMS

Thursday, March 6th (our regular golfing day) the Club is sponsoring its Senior Spring Golf Tournament. I would like to suggest that we for go our usual "game" and join in on the Tournament.
*
We can play in our own foursomes, the fee is $10 ($5 more than we usually contribute), and we can play from the Gold tees. I think it would be good to support Micah and HCC. Give it some thought!
