I tried to move our tee times up to an earlier slot to maybe avoid some of the heat, unfortunately, virtually all of the earlier tee times on Tuesday and Thursday are already slotted to the Women Golf Association and to the Peisch Group.

I was able to move up about 15 minutes but that was all that was available.


******GENERAL INFORMATION*******

We had a 10 golfers start this morning, losing Duke on the back nine due to a back problem, but then picking up the "Wanna-be" on the back - so I guess 10 is the correct number.

Well today we got a sample of what "Hell" must be like. Holy smokes was it hot!!

Everyone was wilting or had wilted by the end of the round and the final scores showed it. Out of the 10 golfers this morning, we only had two with positive numbers - every one else played poorly! I vote for weather as the culprit, rather than our miserable golfing skill.

The rough is somewhat of a joke at this point in the season. Might as well consider it a wasted stroke if you stray from the fairway, recovery is not an option!

Don should be embarrassed with the level of golf he has been playing. Of his last 10 scores, none have been above 85. Come on Don, give up peons a break!

Low Team Average: 91.00 (Larry, Dave, Hergy and Ron)
Don and Jack were only 89, but were only a twosome and therefore excluded!

This is the first time in a real long time that a negative number has won the team competition. The quality of the golf today was way below Par, lets hope for a better showing the next time we tee it up! Just checked: (-3) 2009 record for low team win.
