******GENERAL INFORMATION*******
PLAY SUSPENDED: 9 golfers attempted to play this morning. The day turned out to be rather crappy. We hit rain as the first threesome was approaching #6 tee on Laurel.
Luckily, we were all (9) able to wait in the rest area and missed getting soaked. The course was in no condition for us to finish so we agreed to wash out the match....but from now on, this is the new rule: If we play and everyone has finished any portion of the round - (i.e. nine holes), we will pay the team winners accordingly. Individual winners will have to finish the entire 18 holes to be credited with a victory.
I'm headed to Wisconsin for a week+, so my assistant golf guru - Wet Paint - will be collecting the scores and round data. I will try and post a couple more tee times to make sure we are past the time that I may be gone.
Check your schedules for September. We are trying to put together a little trip to Lake Lure sometime in September. Three days, 2 nights, etc for golf. More details to follow as we have them.
