******GENERAL INFORMATION*******

9 golfers this morning. The day turned out to be rather muggy (gotta love that SC humidity) and the scores are still in the dumper. I need to conduct a little poll (maybe Thursday) as to why a certain malaise (Larry word) has seemed to settle over everyone. The scores we are reporting are "underwhelming" is say the least. It appears to be a combination of three things - 1) the rough, 2) the greens and 3) most of us can't handle 1 & 2.

Little Ronnie, Class of "who cares" , has snagged to top spot in today's golf extravaganza with a +3. From the rumors this reporter heard in the locker room, if Ronnie could make little 5-6 footers he would have been + 7 or 8 instead of a +3, a much more championship performance!

A sweep, again! It looks like the Laurel course is working its magic! Every team in negative numbers! The Azalea played to an average score of 43.8 this morning. The Laurel 46.4. Virtually a three stroke difference, ouch! Maybe we can go help with the work on the Dogwood - only a couple more weeks....thank heavens!
