******GENERAL INFORMATION*******

Sorry for the delaying in posting last Saturday's results. I'm still trying to get my mind settled on "Aiken things" rather than outside obligations!

After dealing with little grand kids for several days you begin to think like them, take our Saturday results for example: (5) Five little golfers came to play, but one left to practice, then there were (4) four! Four little golfers played the front nine - one got hot, then there were
(3) three! Not exactly rhyming, but you get the drift!

Bottom line: we ended up with three golfers, at the finish, on Saturday so it doesn't qualify as a "official" outing for POY points. The outcome, Larry cheated (he got strokes) and won a three man skins game, and Hergy won a front nine points contest. Other than that, it was hot and slow!

Now on today!............the same 'ol, same 'ol, s-l-o-w and HOT! Funny how some things never change!

We had 11 to start, 10 to finish. The scores are still high and every one's confidence and attitude are low! The rough and the sand traps are taking their toll, as is the heat and humidity. Only a couple weeks before things get back to "real" South Carolina fall weather! You know its fall, the Gamecocks are less than two weeks away from their first loss! (could that be Sept 3rd?)

I count this as a bogus win! The Georgia troll had to leave early and that left only the two doofus' to play together! Not exactly matching apples to apples! A victory without honor!
