******GENERAL INFORMATION*******
A rather quite day today. We had 6 golfers out this morning on an overcast and "warm" day. The humidity was high, as was the temp, but with the sun under cloud cover, it turned out quite nice. Four of the six (no names, please Dave and Larry) played quite well, at least the scores were low, if that means anything!

Just a little longer before (September 4th) the Dogwood re-opens and then we can go back to bouncing the balls off the houses on 14 and 15. I miss the tinkling of the glass as it shatters and falls to the ground! It should relieve the congestion some, although the plans now call for them to do some "reconstructive" work on the Laurel! Lordy, Lordy, will miracles never cease!

The first football pool for 2009 will be out next week! Look for it! A few changes to make it more "competitive"! I've made some revisions to the Year-end payout, I think you'll like it!
