******GENERAL INFORMATION*******

You would never have guessed we had 3" of rain yesterday by looking at the weather we had today. If however, you walked on the golf course, you would have figured it out pretty quick!

Even though it was wet, the course really played pretty decently today. Surprisingly, not one green-side bunker had water in it....not one! I guess the money they paid to redo the bunkers may have been worth it! We had 8 golfers out this morning. It was good to see Duke back in the mix, even though he didn't participate in the $4.00 give away program.

The weather is supposed to be real ugly tomorrow, but improving on Thursday. We had originally been told that Thursday was to be a day of showers and probably no golf!

Make sure you make arrangements to get your football picks to me....in a pinch, give them to somebody else to hold, for obvious reasons, or better yet.....learn how to e-mail them back to me! I can get copies of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. if you don't have access to it! Let me know.

Somebody better cool Hergy off. This is the third straight session he has been in the winner's circle. Of course, two of them have been ties, but still! Actually, you can relax a little. The handicap is headed down soon and we all know what happens when that occurs. Back to Earth and more mediocre scores!

We need to making plans for a road trip the week of October 19 - 23. The club is hosting the South Carolina Seniors Tournament. Give a thought to where we want to go! Looks like Aiken Golf Club for one date and ? for the other. Jones Creek ? Bartram Trail ? Riverside ?
