HCC is sponsoring the SC Senior Women's Golf Tournmament for the week!

******GENERAL INFORMATION*******
We had a rather cool (for October) day on Saturday. We had 6.5 golfers for the day (5 regulars, 1 guest and Ernie joined us for 9 on the back.) The course was a little difficult at the start, but as the day settled in, the course became a little more playable, even the rough is settling down. The putting practice green is now open.....unfortunately, it putts nothing like the greens at the present time, but that will come with time! We beat the rain and all in all had a pretty good day!

*****POINT COMPETITION*****

We played our "modified" Points game this morning. $1 per nine and $1 for the Eighteen.

POINT WINNER: David won the front with a +5, Ron was 2nd with a +4. On the back, Ron and David tied at +3 and for the 18 David walked away with the money at +8. On that basis, David wins the P.O.Y. points for the day!

RESERVE THE 17 TH OF DECEMBER FOR THE CHRISTMAS PARTY! It has come to the attention of the blog writer that the ladies of some of our members have not been made aware of the date of the Christmas Party. If you haven't learned by now that this can create a MAJOR issue, maybe your life, I will suggest, very urgently, that you notify the boss of the date! You know its going to cost you some bucks for new clothes and stuff so just buck up and forget the money....it's Christmas!
