HCC is sponsoring the SC Senior Women's Golf Tournament for the week!
******GENERAL INFORMATION*******
We had a rather cool start this morning, but the day warmed and it was an absolutely beautiful fall day in South Carolina. We had 7 golfers for the road trip to Aiken Golf Club.
The course was very dry, unlike Houndslake CC, and the greens were hard and tough to hold.
I always forget how much I don't like those greens until I start to putt on them. I don't think I had a flat putt or even lie all day long, for an unskilled "artisan" like me, that is a lethal combination.
I'm looking forward to Thursday at Midland Valley - I know the greens and conditions can't be any worse for me than they were today!

Duh...duh....David is on a real hot streak right now. He has been winning at a fairly regular clip of late! He has won or shared in 4 of the last seven outings! David, beware!, we will summon the evil golf gods to strike you down if you persist!

RESERVE THE 17 TH OF DECEMBER FOR THE CHRISTMAS PARTY!
It has come to the attention of the blog writer that the ladies of some of our members have not been made aware of the date of the Christmas Party.
If you haven't learned by now that this can create a MAJOR issue, maybe your life, I will suggest, very urgently, that you notify the boss of the date! You know its going to cost you some bucks for new clothes and stuff so just buck up and forget the money....it's Christmas!
