2010 - it Begins! ........Again !

***** TEE TIME INFORMATION *****

Things are a  little confusing right now with regard to tee times.  Until further notice, we should probably suspend our "regualr" times of 11:08 - 11:16 on Tuesday/Thursday and 10:00 on Saturday.

Because of the "frozen" condition of the course, tee times are generally not available until the morning of the day we are trying to schedule.  The Pro Shop has no way of knowing when the course is going to be opened and must adjust "on the fly"  (Like that ios something new for them!)

I am calling at 10:00 am on our regular play days, getting a couple of times and posting via e-mail to everyone.  Therefore, it behooves you to check your e-mail before leaving for the course!

***** GENERAL INFORMATION *****

After having said all that about how diificult it is to play, I am pleased to announe that we finally have had our first offical  "qualifying" date this morning.  We had a grand total of 8 players out on what turned out to be a very nice day - once you got by the frozen tee boxes!

The forecast is for rain on Saturday, therefore we have decided to try to squeeze in a Friday "play-day" tomorrow.  As mentioned above, I will call at 10:00 am and get the tee time and advise you by e-mail.

***** INDIVIDUAL HONORS *****

 The first winner of the new season turns ourt to be "Double D"  David dazzeled the assembled throngs by posting a +6 total (87), and narrowly edging out Paint-boy with his +5 (85).  Also positive on this first day were: Hergy +1 (88), Brent (86) +2.  Breaking even: Jack (100) and Tommy (89).   Looming on the dark side: Ron -5 (92), Larry - 2 (97).

Medalist Honors went to Don with an 85, followed by Brent at 86 and David 89 and Hergy at 88. Rounding out the 80's for day was Tommy at 89.
