Aiken Golf Club - Bite Me!

***** TEE TIME INFORMATION *****

Not sure where we are with times right now.  It is supposed to rain again...starting tomorrow and lasting through Saturday.  If thats the case, Tuesday it will still be to wet to get on the course with carts and that means we are back to CART PATH ONLY, if the weather isn't to cold.

Keep checking the blog and I'll keep updating as to what we are going to do for next Tuesday and Thursday.

It was pretty much decided to forget about playing this Saturday.  If it is nice and you plan on playing....you are on your own as to tee times, etc.

***** GENERAL INFORMATION *****

We had nine golfers ready to participate in the festivities - some one forgot to tell the Aiken Golf Course to cooperate.  The weather was okay, not great but better than its been. 

The greens - putting in general - sucked.  I thought the greeen at HCC were tough this early in the season, they were "minor league ugly" compared to the monsters at AGC.  With a few exceptions, everyone struggled. I don't know about the rest of you, but it will be awhile before I will return to this course!

***** INDIVIDUAL HONORS *****

Someone forogt to tell DAVID that he is supposed to allow others within our group to win the points contest.  The Smurf had another of his wonderful days posting a +5 (85) while the rest of us struggled mightily. 

Second place  - oh wait - no one else was even close.  This was David's third straight win and as always, when someone fails to heed or ignores our "suggestions",  and reason and rational thought falter, even if the offending party is weak of mind, we resort to our old "standby position"  and my personal favorite tactic...........ridicule!

If that doesn't work, I will have to make a call to Vinnie and Guido in Vegas and they may need to have a "heart-to-heart" talk to David before an unfortunate "accident" befalls him.

Medalist for todays outing was a tie between the Smurf (David) and the Keebler Elf (Bob) at 85.  What is it with these little guys?  They must have an inferiority complex or something!

I told you the results for today were not pretty!  Lot of high scores.  Only three in the 80's.  Everyone else was at bogey or worse!  The more I think about today at Aiken Golf Club, the more I appreciated playing at the "Swamp".

A clean sweep for Team Two - in fact, it wasn't even close.  No records were broken or established by the stomping, that was taken care of last week!
