***** TEE TIME INFORMATION *****

We are still on the 11:12 - 11:20 cycle until further notice.  We will move our time up when all of the other groups adjust their starting times.  Until then, this is our time!

***** GENERAL INFORMATION *****

We have had 8 golfers out on a fantastic Spring day (dare I say that - I dare, I dare!)  Anyway, we will be getting a few of our sickly/disabled, etc. back soon and will be moving back to a little larger group!

The greens seem to be a little better today - that means that not every ball went off the green if you putted from above the hole.  Just kidding! 

The sandbaggers are out in full force at this time of year!  There are so many that I can't even pick one to or two to complain about!  Eventually, the law of averages (or handicaps) should catch up with you guys!
Honest golfers, like me and Ernie, seem to be few and far between. :-)

The scores, although not as good as mid-summer are continuing to improve.  They are still largely in the 90's, with more in the 80's than a couple weeks ago.

***** INDIVIDUAL HONORS *****

LITTLE RONNIE WILLIAMSON (wonder why we call him little?) was the winner today - shooting +7 for the win.  Second place went to his team mate Don at +5.  Everyone of the 8 golfers today had a Even or better round!  See I told you that we were getting better!

The medalist for today was also RON at 86,  Challanging Ron for the medalist slot was Don and Hergy with a pair of 88's.

44 seemed to be the popular score of choice today!  We need to all try to get a little better, nine holes at a time I guess.  We were at 50% today 16 rounds with 8 at bogey or better.  Only real problem is that only entailed 5 golfers.  Oh well, hopefully we'll play better as the Master's approaches.  (I don't know why we will play better for the Master's.....I don't know why I made that stupid statement, it just seemed to be appropriate!) 

***** TEAM COMPETITION *****

We finally had a split in the team competition.  The overall winner(s): the team of RON, DON, ERNIE and JACK won the front nine (Azalea) with a +10 performance.  Their competitors: consisting of Walter, Larry, David and Hergy won the back (Dogwood)with a "cozy" +5 1/2.  The eighteen went to Ron, Don, Ernie and Jack with an overall score of +13 (+10, +3 = 13).

Again today, there was only a first place and second place contest - we didn't have enough teams for anyone to finish last! :-)  Duh!

Today, under the e-mail section I have enclosed a summary of the 1st Quarter of 2010 Scores and Point Summaries.  You will find a listing of the total scores that I have recorded for you and your cumulative +/- (Over/Under) based on your 2010 handicap.  Read and enjoy.

These are only 18 hole rounds that have been turned in to me - there may be one or two missing rounds when the weather was raising havoc with our schedule.
