Master's week - Part Two

***** TEE TIME INFORMATION *****

Since this is Masters Week, the Club has "adjusted" our tee times a little.

Thursday tee time:  10:48 - 10:56 am.

Saturday we are scheduled for: 10:40 - 10:48 am

I am assuming that next week we will return to our regular schedule of 11:12 - 11:20 until all of the other groups adjust their starting times, which will probably soon! Stay tuned!  I am on babysitting duty in Wisconsin.

***** GENERAL INFORMATION *****

We have had 6 for the first of our Master's Week clashes.  The course is rounding into pretty good shape.  The greens have evened out to some degree, although a couple of them are still on the "silly-side" of things if the pin placement is not reviewed thouroghly, namely #3, #11.

***** INDIVIDUAL HONORS *****

We had another tie among the troops.  DAVID (again) and RON (again) eked out a victory at +7.  It is kind of like watching piranah eat, those with their "enhanced" handicaps battling the other  handicapped "challenged' golfers.

IT WILL ALL EVENOUT -SOON!  

Second place went Walt and Brent at +6 and Hergy at +5!  Only one negative round by "nameless"

The medalist for today was BRENT at 83. Next best at 85 was David.

*****TEAM COMPETITION*****

We had split today. The overall winner(s): the team of WALT, BRENT and HERGY won the back nine (Dogwood) with a +9 performance. Their "so-called" competitors: consisting of David, George and Ron won the front (Azalea) with a +10. The eighteen went to WALT, BRENT and HERGY with an overall score of +17 (+8, +9 = 17).  The competition couldn't keep up the pace, falling to a -1 to finish a distant +9!

**** NEWS *****

Good to have George join us for the first time in 2010.  To bad he had to play with the two heathens - David and Ron.
