The Saturday edition of HHH&S is rolling off the presses!
Unfortunately, we have some rather disturbing news to report this afternoon. It has come to the attention of the editor (via one of his credible roving reporters) that one of our HHH&S group has been spotted PRACTICING his golf during the off days. Yes fans, practicing! Practicing his driving, his chipping, his putting. He was actually seen practicing counting his money (winnings) and how to stuff it in his wallet! I suppose he will go all "Allen Iverson" on us and defend it as "just practice, you know practice, etc".
Individual Honors

Unfortunately, the editor didn't have any current pictures of our winners today so he had to go deep into the archives to find appropriate photos.<-----Ernie (younger and with hair) shot a nice +6, which included 2 birdies (both on Par 3's) and a +6 also for Mr. "I'm just Practicing" (like I'm sure it doesn't help to practice) Don ------>
Don (Mr. It's just Practice) lead the group today with a 84. Ernie had a 85. Notable nines..Ernie had a 40 on the back (Dogwood) as did Hergy(87). Ron shot an 89 and Larry & Walter finished 18.
Team Competition
Even though we started at 8:24 AM and not fully alert, the 3-some of Larry, Ron and Don got off to a fast start winning the front nine (+4, I think), but couldn't hold up to the pressure as the other 3-some of Ernie, Hergy and Walter smoked them on the back(+10) and won the 18 as well!
Other Information
The editor hope to get more current pictures of everyone so that we can "honor" everyone appropriately, but please, let's not all start practicing, just because it seems to work. After all, we are retired and most of can't spare the time or get permission from the spouse.
The details of the Big Tournament are almost set, look for the information tomorrow. We need get things set up rather quickly since the South Carolina team (just like their football counterparts in Columbia) may not have enough players, due to jail, probation violations and other civil infractions.
Of course, if "squirrel fighting" is found to be a "bloodsport" and therefore a felony offense, we could lose the guys from Clemson as well!
