The weather is getting better, finally. It was warm today vs. HOT! Won't be long and we'll be back in long pants and turtlenecks. Fall golf in South Carolina......can't be beat!
Individual Honors
Brent Boore (archive picture/with hair) was the big hitter today with a 
commendable +6 (82). Brent was also the medalist today going 38-44 (82), followed by Tommy with a "more consistent" 84 (40-44). Other notable nines: beside Brent's 38 on Dogwood, Tommy shot a 40 on Dogwood, Hergy shot a 41 on Laurel.

The winning team, a three and half-some of Brent, Hergy and Walter (along with Louie for 9 holes) was blitzed on the front nine by the group of Ron, Ernie, Larry and Tommy, with a score of +5 to +2 1/2. However, bucking up and playing a more consistent brand of golf BHWL (that's Brent,Hergy, Walter & Louie) finished the back nine in a respectable -1/2, netting out to a 18 hole finish of +2. The front runners, stumbled to a -5 on the Laurel, finishing the 18 with a +1/2. (The winning three 1/2-som also finished at +1/2 without using Louie's score...... does that mean Louie is "not relevant'?)

BTW (by the way) Dr. Larry has been a frequent visitor to the practice tees AGAIN! It must help since he shot a 90 today and has been under that number rather consistently as of late. We, the "little people" salute you old mighty striker of the ball!
