Tuesdays Results:

In the words of the inventor of the electric vacuum cleaner, " Everything today sucked! The driving sucked, the chipping sucked and yes, even the putting sucked. In fact, even my iced tea sucked." Winning the individual points and medalist honors was akin to winning an ugly contest.....and yes that sucked too!

Individual Honors (ha!)

The individual point leader today was the "Clemson Dazzler", Tommy. He rocketed to the top of the heap with +2 (84). The next closet was our favorite "sandbagger" (recently elevated to an HONEST 18 handicap), Dr. Larry with a "0" (that's zero). The other 7 hackers ranged from -2 to
-14 (yes, that -14 is for ONE player). No, this picture isn't of Tommy (maybe Tommy Bowden :-) ).

Notable nines today: Tommy with a 39, the next best was a 43 for the good Dr. The worst: 102 by an unidentified soul, most others were mid 90's. Maybe it was the weather or something- Yuk!

Team Competition

Now for the real funny parts: The big hitters for the day were Tommy, Duke and Jack who cruised to victory with a -2 (yes, a real -2) on the front, but were skillfully aced out of the back nine by the superior golfing abilities of Larry, Ron G. and Hergy with a -3.

The eighteen was won with a score of -11 (-2 and -9) posted by Tommy, Duke and Jack. In second place, which means nothing and pays nothing, was the threesome of Don, Duke and Ron W. who rose to the occasion by posting a -14 and last in the 18-hole race was Larry, Ron G. and Hergy with a wonderful -20. It looks like everybody decided to take a day off from golf.

That's it for now; rest up for Thursday...... it can't get any worse! Oh wait, yes it can!
