A rather warm day on the links today. A breeze made a feeble attempt to cool us down, but by the end we were dragging!

A little different format today, since we were only 5. We played an individual points Nassau. It was a very competitive round since we had only players with true and honest handicaps, as opposed to the usual "sandbagging" crew we are force to endure.

Tommy won the front nine (Dogwood) with a modest "-1", Hergy was close by with a "-1 1/2". However, Duke was the big hitter with a sizzling back nine (+5 Laurel), which allowed him to win the 18 as well, finishing with a +3 for the day. Duke also was low medalist with an 88, followed by Tommy and Brent with 90's. Herg was at 92 and Don a little behind that.

In fact, Duke was the only person in "+" territory. Tommy, Don, Brent and Hergy all had "-" numbers for the day. We all agreed that it was the courses fault, not ours!

Highlight of the round was a "hole out: from 120 yds for the Dukester on #6 Laurel.

Great shot Duke!

That's it , see ya'll on Thursday!
