Spring, or something like it has arrived at last. 10 golfers surfaced for the showdown this morning and of course, with a pot that large all the sandbaggers were out in force! I was basking in the fact that I saved my $4 from the ravishing horde of the handicapped challenged, but came to the realization that my traveling companion spent a lot more of my money in Savannah than the $4.00 I would have donated considering the recent state of my golf swing!

POINTS
The big winner of today's Points competition is the "Charleston Slasher". Mr. Jack took no prisoners today posting a very respectable +6. One quick look at his swing in the picture should convince you not to gamble with this man.

Close by Mr. Jack was one of our winter hibernators Mr. Raise'n Cain and his sidekick, Walking Eagle (Duke) with decent but still inadequate +5's. Good enough for second place and $0.00. Just the thrill of being with the "big boys"

Medalist for the morning was "Pinky Lee" Moody, recent winner of the HCC Senior Tournament.
-NINES-
Unfortunately, I received only the 18 hole totals so we are going to have to mention those with 18 hole totals that were bogey or better. Sorry about that for you 9 hole wonders!

TEAM COMPETITION
*
The team competition ended up as a split today. The foursome of Poyboy, Moody, Duke and Marshall blistered the front 9 and won easily with a +11. Feeling confident and a little cocky they fell to only a +1 on the back finishing with a +12 to win the 18 quite handily.
*
While they were relaxing, so was everyone else, the team of ERA, Paintboy and Tommy had a decent +8 on the front and they also fumbled around on the back to a measly +1 as well to tie the back at +1 and lose the 18 by 3.
*
The last team of TVLouie, Jack and Ron had a pedestrian +3 on the front and a -3 on the back to finish the day at "O" gaining only satisfaction and exercise from their efforts.
*
ITEMS
I am going to take a little poll on Thursday as to when (Next Thursday ?) we want to take a little trip (Ft. Gordon?) to change our golfing outlook. Any thoughts let me know if you won't be there to comment.
