A total of ten golfers this morning. A bit on the chilly side to start with, but it eventually warmed up a little as we did as well. Rather a hum-drum round today as everybody seemed in a post-storm funk. That will all change when we get a few more days of continuous sunshine.
*POINTS
The little troll from the chocolate tree in Keebler, SC was the big hitter today. "Pinky Lee" led the way with a modest +3, shooting a round of 41-41=82. That 82 was also good enough to win the medalist competition as well. A nice comeback from last week when Bob was playing un-elf like golf. The Florence Flash was close behind with a +2, but couldn't catch up when it counted.*

TEAM COMPETITION
***********************
A split decision on the team portion of the competition today. The team of Moody, Marshall and Don won the front (Dogwood) with a +3 over the team of Larry, Hergy and Ernie who managed to finish at (0). These two teams reversed their fortunes on the back (Azalea) with MM&D pulling only a +1 to bring them to +4 for the eighteen, while the team of LH&E jumped up with a +4 performance to win the back and tie the eighteen at +4.
*
The final foursome of Duke, Ron, Louie and Brent failed to play up to their team potential and stumbled to the finish line with an overall score of -9. Apparently everyone just had "one of those" days.

Be sure to check the tee times for each outing........there will be a little more variance in the starting times as we make the flip from the later "Winter" tee times to the earlier "Spring" times.
