Running a little late this week, always seemed to be something pop up to get in the way. Had to watch "Tiger" since my game and his are so similar, I always try to pick up a little hint here and there. We had nine regulars and one visitor for our contest this morning. It was wet, but a lot less so than I think everyone was expecting. One of those days that seemed like a good day to play golf, but the scores never came together.
.

POINTS
Check this perfect swing form demonstrated by today's Point champion. The "Naked Gun" was the points winner today with a rather modest +3. I guess it doesn't matter as long as its more than everybody else.
.

IRS-boy and Husker-boy were close with +2's. Only other plus golfer at +1 was POY-boy, everybody else was in the negative mode.
.

As a group today, our scoring average was a pedestrian 91.30.
That pathetic statistic puts us in the D category.
.
NINES
**********
Less than 50% of today's nines were bogey or better!

-45-

TEAM COMPETITION
*************************
The team competition today was a split decision. The team of Ron, Brent and Don won the back with a +2 and the 18 with an overall (O). Splitting with them was the team of Moody, Hergy, Jack and our guest for today Harry Kite who won the front with a + 2 1/2, but stumbled to a very poor -9 1/2 to finish way back at -7.
*
That score may have been BAD, but the last group of ......I can't do it, I won't name them! They had a tough day finishing with a -8, in fact no one in their group had a nine hole score equal to or better than bogey. Ouch! Keep swinging guys, it will get better!
