^^^^^^^^^^^^
Twelve golfers (11 regulars and a visitor) arrived for the continuation of the weekly money hunt. The weather cooperated and the Laurel course was in decent shape, thanks to the recent rains. Although to judge from the scores, the course definitely was playing tougher than usual.
*
Back from a recent winning drought, the "REV" (aka: Satellite Louie, TV Louie) returned to the top of the slag heap with a +3 performance this morning.
*
Tommy was next in line at a +2, but most everyone else took the day off, it appears. The medalist honors fell to recent POINTS winner, "Teflon" Bob shooting an 83, and besting Tommy again by one stroke (84).

*****NINES*****
This list of sub-bogey rounds is a little lacking today as most everyone struggled a little, or should I say a lot, from the looks of it!
*
-40- Bob -41- Tommy, Louie -43- Don, Zack Fulmer, Bob, Tommy
*****
-44- Zack Fulmer, -45- Larry, Marshall, Duke, Louie
*****TEAM COMPETITION*****
One thing about our recent golf scores, no matter how bad you think your score is, hang in there!, somebody else is playing worse.
*
We had a split decision on the team side today. The team of Marshall, Duke, Zack and Dan (DNF) won the front (Laurel) with a score of +1. The back was won by the team of Ron, Bob, Louie and Tommy posting a score of -1/2. The 18 was a tie between these two teams with a rather anemic -5 overall!
*
Unfortunately, for the team of Larry, Walt, Jack and Don, they ended up as donors and judging from their scores should be able to claim their money as tax deductible since they weren't even remotely competitive, posting an 18 hole score of -15. Wow, that's ugly, boys! ....or is it "Wow, that's, ugly boys? Whatever!
