Nice turnout this morning for a somewhat warm golf outing. We had nine golfers (8 participating- one guest) so we split into three threesomes for the sake of golf etiquette, but played for the money as two foursomes.

As you will remember, I think we suffered through this same little troll winning last week, but he did it again. "Teflon" Bob managed to sneak home with the goodies shooting an impressive +6 to edge out Hergy (+5) and Tommy (+4).

Bob was also the medalist with a 77, four strokes better than Tommy at 81.

Also included in his round was an impressive 36 on Dogwood. The 77 ties the 18 hole record for 2008. Good round Robert! We had three rounds under 40 today : Bob (36 Dogwood)Tommy (38 Dogwood) Hergy (39 Azalea)

Turns out the team competition wasn't very competitive this morning. The team of Duke, Larry , Bob, and Hergy (joining this team as the result of a coin flip) shot a 2008 season record +15 for the 18 holes.

Posting a modest victory on the front, the boys really turned it on during the final nine to amass their impressive total.

*

Unfortunately, the team of Ron, Don, Tommy and Dan played well enough (+4 for the 18) but no where near the firepower displayed by the above team. When one team is that hot all you can do is pay your money and shake your head!
