We had five (5) golfers out this morning for a rather warm outing. This heat wave is expected to break over the next couple of days - cooler Saturday, for example - and it would be nice to see everyone that is still in town play.

In fact, good news for everyone, the POY-boy is returning to action Saturday and his billfold is loaded with crisp one dollar bills, so come on out and help us relieve Larry of some of those bills, four to be exact! With that being said, here are the results for today:

The "Teacher-boy" schooled us today on how to play this crazy game. After receiving a "special dispensation" from Carole which allowed Walter to compete today, Walt, maximizing the use of his stroke holes, took advantage of that good fortune and proceeded to accumulated NINE skins to lead all competitors.

The "Naked Gun" finished second with 5 and the "Bug-eater" followed with 4. Wanna-be and Banker-boy couldn't beg, borrow or steal (or earn) a skin and ended the day with a big FAT "0" .

I misplaced my score sheet (Duh!), so I am listing these from memory (and at our age we know how accurate that is!), but the only one I'm not sure about is Brent. Tommy was the medalist today shooting a 83 (zero skins), Hergy was next at 85 (4 skins), followed by Ron (5 skins) with an 86 and the Wanna-be shot a 87 (I think) with 0 skins. Walt shot a 91 (9 skins) and
