If you hadn't noticed, we are going to be at 10:00 every golf day for the rest of the month!
Fall is here....at least temporarily. We had 11 golfers out this morning attempting to break the recent stranglehold of Jack on the Points Championship! Did we succeed...read on ol' faithful reader!
*
*****POINTS*****

We spared no expense to bring in the top talent in order to stop Jack and his unquenching thirst for OUR money! We brought in the ultimate ringer.
*
Yes Sir! The Minister of Money.....The Padre of the Purse....The Pastor of the Putt! George stopped the devil (Jack so to speak) straight in his tracks. Posting a +9 this morning, George and his new driver (golf as opposed to car) blasted the opposition which included second place Paint-boy at +7 and third place NASCAR Ernie at +5. The aforementioned winner Mr. Jack could only manage a +2 in the face of the Pastor of Pressure! Way to go George!
*
Bob was the medalist this morning, posting an 81 (along with guest Marcus Williamson) with Don right behind with his 82. Great rounds guys!
*
*****SCORES*****
We had a number of really good scores this morning. Must have been the weather, it certainly couldn't be our skill level!
-37- Don
-39- Marcus W.
-40- Bob
-41- Bob, George
-42- Marcus W.
-43- Hergy, Ernie, George
-44- Louie, Ernie, Ron
-45- Don, Hergy, Larry (2), Ron

*****TEAM COMPETITION******
*
We had a 1/3 vs 2/3rds split this morning for the team competition. The team of Don, Jack and Hergy won the back (Dogwood) with a +7 1/2. They shot a +2 1/2 on the front (Azalea) and finished the 18 at +10. Almost good enough.
*
The team of Larry, George, Marcus and Ron won the 2/3rd's part. Winning the back with a +6, after shooting a +5 on the front. They finished the 18 at +11. Good enough for 1st.
*
Stuck in the middle was the team of Bob, Louie, Ernie and Walter. They almost won the front (+4 1/2) and shot decent on the back (+3 1/2) , finishing the 18 at +8. That would be pretty good on most days, but not today!
