******GENERAL INFORMATION*******
Had a great turnout this AM - another full house - 12 golfers (actually 11 regulars and a "recruit). The scores continued their decline - must be following the stock market - anyway, the course is in great shape. The fairways are in tip-top shape and the greens are rolling consistently. It begs the question then: If the course is in great shape and the greens are okay to good, why do our scores continue to decline?
Two answers: 1) the rough is a killer. The ball just dies and gets buried. Being in the rough is almost a guaranteed bogey.
Answer #2: We suck as a group of golfers!
Everything else was pretty much back to normal. We kept "Wet-Paint" out of the water today. He started to run for the water on #6 Laurel, but Hergy tackled him and sat on him till he came back to his senses! It was close, but we kept him dry.

Congratulations to David on his Eagle at #6 on the Dogwood Course. David hit a PW from about 110 yards and rolled in to the hole. Asked about this feat, David said: "It was not a fluky shot!"
Ya! right,Duh! Just like you planned it. This is the third Eagle this Year for the group! Way to go David!
