***** GENERAL INFORMATION *****

We had 10 this morning!  What a wonderful day to play!  The weather was really excellent - although, a couple of our group members need to wake up and smell the roses!  Please be advised that walking shorts ( used to be "burmuda shorts") are now in season and your boney, pasty white, lice-infested legs need to be allowed to air out - i.e  you should be wearing SHORTS!, even if they have to have little fishes, flags, whales or whatever embroidered on them.

The scores turned in while I was AWOL were incredible.  Somebody must be passing out the steroids by the bucket full!  We had 3 - 2010 Golf Records broken during the brief stretch and I'm sure if I went back and checked it would be the most prolific scoring period during the last three years that I have been keeping these records.

New 2010 Records:

 - Highest Team Score +27 (Brent, Bob, Ernie and Larry)
(This record is questioned since the individual totals totals do not equal the 18 hole total)

 - Highest Individual Score +13 (Don) - You should be ashamed!

 - Lowest Round 2010 - 79  Bob and Don

***** INDIVIDUAL HONORS *****

The lead sandbagger today was LOUIE with a very good +10, but modest by last weeks standards.

Second place in the "Handicap Derby" was Ernie with a +8!

In my previous blog I jokingly said " Even though my trip to Wisconsin is always a little expensive (Look up "Taveling with Divas" in Google and you will see a picture of Marti), it will still be cheaper than throwing my hard earned $4.00 down the rathole with you guys! ".  After a review of the scores from last week, it turns out pretty prophetic, the scores last week were amazing, although Marti did manage to spend more than the $16 dollars I would have spent.

In the last 5 rounds we have played, a total of  39 - 18 hole rounds of golf, 27 of the rounds have been at a +5 or better level - thats an amazing (for us) 69% of  the rounds.  WOW!

The medalist for today was LOUIE at 81. Next best at 85 was The Paint-boy!.

***** HONOR ROLL*****

-38-
-39-
-40-  Louie
-41-  Louie, Don
-42-  Ernie, David

****TEAM COMPETITION*****

We had split result today. The front nine and 18 hole winners with a +8 (Azalea) and 18 hole total of +15 was the foursome of Brent, Bob, Louie and David.

Preventing the sweep by winning the back nine (Dogwood) was the threesome of Hergy, Ernie and Ron with a combined +11.

The third and final (last as well) group of Larry, Walt and Don didn't do squat! They did however, finish the round, barely!

**** NEWS *****
