*****TEE TIMES*****
Our "Standing" Summer tee times will be:
10:00 - 10:08 - 10:16 am Tuesday - Thursday
After a little confusion concerning our standing tee time on Thursdays - it has been reinstated! We will play the courses in the rotation for that week, including the Laurel. It was decided that we will only use the "roadtrip" for dates for which the course is closed, or upon general agreement of the group!
Don't let the heat get you down. Come out and play 9 holes if you want. We are willing to adjust the scoring/games to allow for 9-holers. Better safe than sorry with this heat thing!
Note it! Live it, Breathe it, Write it down! Subject it to memory! Be the Ball!
***** GENERAL INFORMATION *****
We had 8 for playing on Thursday morning. The weather looked more ominous than it really was. The course is in great shape and is playing near its peak condition (IMHO) We managed to finish before the rain/thunder/lightening interrupted things. No one really tore it up today (+7) and no one really stunk.......to bad! (0 was the worst) Everyone who played today posted a positive score or at least broke even!
I have posted all of your scores that transpired while I was vacationing, at least those that were turned in! I will be issuing the 2nd scoring update at the end of June.
***** INDIVIDUAL HONORS *****
The point winner to day was HEAT-STROKE LARRY. Larry posted a +7 while barely being able to drag his heat-soaked body from tee to green.
Second place in the heat derby went to the Smurf (David) with a +5.
The medalist honors belong to DAVID with an 84. Closed to Smurfy was Paint-boy at 87.
*****HONOR ROLL*****

-43- Larry, Don
-44- David, Don, George
-45- Marshall
Not to bad a showing, everyone had a with the scores ranging from +7 to "0" On a personal note, I had a great time shooting a 49-40.....no frustration there I can assure you!
****TEAM COMPETITION*****
The team of LARRY, HERGY, DAVID and RON swept the team competition today. They posted a +7 on the Azalea and a +8 on the Laurel for a +15 over the 18.
Succuming to pressure cooker atmosphere was the limp-wristed team of Ernie, Don, George and Marshall. They were only able to post a +5 on the front, a +3 on the back for a +8 for the eighteen.
It's tough in the big leagues guys! Come back when you grow up!
**** NEWS *****
Be nice to me or I'll make you look at the 2,000 + pictures we took on our trip! Hey, I could post those here in the blog! Maybe not!
